Throughout your visit, you may notice some of the high-tech equipment we are using to provide you with a higher standard of dental care.
Digital & Panoramic X-rays
X-rays help us spot concerns that would otherwise be hidden in a standard visual exam. We use digital X-rays, which have actually been shown to emit less radiation compared to conventional X-rays. We also use panoramic X-rays, which give us a more comprehensive view of your mouth and allow us to provide you with more effective and accurate diagnoses.
An intraoral camera gives you an in-depth look at your oral health. The device instantly projects digital images onto a screen that we can use to guide your through your diagnosis. Patients love how intraoral cameras allow them to take their own close look at what’s going on with their teeth and gums.
The Isolite system is a revolutionary way for patients to experience much more comfortable visits and for dental professionals to perform their work more efficiently. The system has a place to rest your jaw, a light to eliminate shadows, and self-aspirating technology that eliminates rinse breaks.
Soft & Hard Tissue Lasers
Lybrook Dental Center was one of the first practices to bring laser technology to the Grand Valley in 1999. Soft and hard tissue lasers are a precise, minimally invasive way to treat a variety of dental concerns. Hard tissue lasers are used to prepare teeth for restorations while soft tissue lasers are helpful in treating gum disease. Laser dentistry also results in faster healing and shorter recovery times!
The DIAGNOdent is a laser cavity detection device that accurately spots tooth decay that’s in its earliest stages and might be hidden from the naked eye. The sooner we catch a dental cavity, the smaller the filling you’ll need and the more of your natural tooth we’ll be able to preserve!
We take pride in constantly improving our practice to give you a rewarding experience at the dentist.
