We want you to have a full overview of what you can expect so that you can feel comfortable and confident at your first visit. New Patient Paperwork

When visiting us for the first time, we ask that you bring a valid ID and your most up-to-date insurance card, if applicable. To expedite your check-in process, you can download and fill out our new patient forms before your first visit. If you don’t have time, no worries! Just please make sure to come in at least 15 minutes before your scheduled appointment time to complete the new patient paperwork.

Dental Checkup & Cleaning

Depending on what you’re visiting us for, your first visit could look a little bit different. If you’re coming to our office for a dental checkup and cleaning, our dental team will start by getting any necessary X-ray imaging before seating you at one of our dental stations. Once at the dental station, one of our skilled dental hygienists will perform your dental cleaning and apply any needed dental sealants or fluoride treatments. After your cleaning is complete, one of our friendly dentists, Dr. Scott or Dr. Carol, will take a look at your X-ray images and examine your teeth and gums for any signs of decay or infection. They will go over their findings with you and schedule any necessary follow up appointments.

Treatment for Oral Health Issues

If you’re coming to our office because you have a dental problem, we will start by taking diagnostic X-rays. Then, Dr. Scott or Dr. Carol will meet with you to discuss the dental issue you’re having and examine the problem area. After they get a better idea of what’s going on, they will discuss treatment options with you including cost, time frame, and expectations. Any time a patient comes to us with an oral health issue, we want to make sure they are fully equipped with all of the information they need to make the best healthcare decisions for their situation.
